MONT BELVIEU, Texas (AP) - The same week his state outlawed racial discrimination based on hairstyles, a Black high school student in Texas was suspended because school officials said his locs violated the district's dress code.Darryl George, a junior at Barbers Hill High School in Mont Belvieu, received an in-school suspension after he was told his hair fell below his eyebrows and ear lobes. (The Hill) -- A new manufacturing plant to build electric planes that can take off and land vertically will be built in Dayton, Ohio — the birthplace of aviation.Ohio Gov. GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Glens Falls man was arrested in August following a lengthy child sexual abuse investigation by New York State Police. Joshua Tessier, 35, faces multiple charges. Police say their investigation found Tessier had inappropriate sexual contact with two children in Kingsbury in 2020. WILDWOOD, Mo. -- A man was killed in a crash after his car caught fire on 141 at I-44 early Monday morning. The victim has been identified as Anthony Yacovielle, 40, of Wildwood, Missouri.A crash report says that Yacovielle was driving northbound on 141 at around 3:30 a.m. when his vehicle struck an overpass. It then caught fire.Yacovielle was pronounced dead at the scene at around 3:50 a.m. His body was taken to the St. Louis County morgue. LOUIS - Someone shot and killed a man in north St. Louis early Sunday morning.It happened at around 2:30 a.m. Police shared that they found 42-year-old Terrelle Porter dead at the corner of 21st and Ferry in the Hyde Park neighborhood. A woman died Sunday morning after lying down in a hospital parking lot, where she was run over by a sedan, Aurora officials said.At 9:35 a.m. Sunday, Aurora police officers responded to reports of a crash in the parking lot of the Medical Center of Aurora, according to a Monday news release from the Aurora Police Department.Investigators determined the 55-year-old woman was lying down in a traffic lane when she was hit by a Ford sedan traveling through the parking lot, the release stated.Officials pronounced the unidentified woman dead on the scene.
